El Digital Dancehall representa el estilo de la música jamaicana del Dancehall de la fundación, que fue popular en los años 80 después de "Sleng Teng Riddim" que cambió completamente la estética del Dancehall. Los estudios musicales, donde hasta entonces bandas como Roots Radics producían, ahora eran el patio de recreo para un nuevo conjunto de magos musicales como Steely & Cleevie, que usaban teclados y sintetizadores en lugar de músicos en vivo.
Los resultados de la explosión creativa, causada por este cambio generacional, son el foco de la 5ta edición de la serie de mixtapes llamados Sentinel's Dancehall Foundation de Everlasting Sound. 48 temas de energía pura, que dan una idea de por qué la llegada de las tecnología de producción digital causó un terremoto en la escena musical jamaiquina de los 80.
